First group session with client and family/friends.  This session will have both a formal educational component and an instructed question/answer period. 

 

We present information affecting both the client and family/friends, such as communication, visitation, community resources and restrictions.  Also during this session with the family we will further discuss what challenges family members will encounter while their loved one is away, as well as approaches to successfully get you through these tough times.

We will walk the client through each step he/she will make upom entry into the prison system -  from receiving and discharge to placement in a halfway house upon discharge. 

 

The client and family may contact Unique Prison Consultants & Coaching for continued support, education, and advice as situaations (both in and outside of prison) arise in which guidance is needed.

Our consultants will offer education and guidance as our clients face the challenging task of adapting to halfway house; supervised release/probation/parole; possible drug and alcohol aftercare; finding employment; and re-connecting withfamily/friends.
